Signs You May Need Emergency Dental Care

- Severe Pain – this is a sign of infection that may require antibiotics as well as pain relief medication

- Accident – an injury to your mouth/jaw should be seen immediately

- Cracked or Chipped Tooth - it may not seem serious, but ignoring a small crack or chip in your tooth can create larger dental issues

- Lost Tooth – assuming it was a permanent tooth, there’s a possibility the tooth could be saved if seen in time.

- Excessive bleeding - this may be due to gum disease, an accident or any number of other causes

- Pus or Infection – this type of infection could actually spread if ignored

I had an exceptionally professional experience at Leander Modern Dentistry. Despite the presence of several patients ahead of me, the wait time was minimal. Once I was ushered into the treatment area, I was impressed by the advanced technology utilized in their practice, including small high quality cameras that ensured thorough examinations. I originally visited for a cleaning and to address discomfort on one side of my mouth, which was later diagnosed as multiple cavities. After reviewing the financial plan, I chose to proceed with the recommended treatment, and they efficiently accommodated me on the same day. The dentist performed the procedures with remarkable skill. As someone who experiences anxiety, finding a comfortable dental environment can be challenging, but I felt at ease throughout my visit. The dentist took the time to explain each step of the process and frequently checked in to ensure my comfort. The treatment, which included addressing multiple cavities and a deep cleaning, was done in a jiffy, I was attended to by both the dentist and the hygienist, who worked seamlessly as a team. I felt secure and well cared for during the entire experience, which was, without a doubt, the best I have ever encountered! I will recommend to anybody!

My office visit was fantastic! The dental assistants I had (Alex and Keerthi) we personable and kind with great bedside manners, had a great laugh with each one as I went through the motions of a has always been a horrifying experience at other offices, (bad case of white coat syndrome). Then the health coordinator (Alexis) went over my dental plan with me and helped me understand the best course of action. She displayed a great amount of empathy and care as we talked through options and how things would play put. Finally the dentist I worked with (Amatullah Mamajiwala DDS), you are a gem in your own right. This was the best dentist I have ever worked with, as long as she is here or in the Central Texas area, she has a forever patient in me. From checking on me consistently during my visit to giving me so many options in my treatment plan. I have never been so fortunate to be in the presence of a dentist who checks every single box in what I want in a healthcare provider. Leander Modern Denistry is a fantastic office with a great atomsphere, great technology, and even better people. 20/10
